What a week! It started on Tuesday with my bride of nearly 17 years and I catching a flight from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Vancouver, B.C. Vicki and I taught at the Billy Graham School of Evangelism (She rocked the house). I also taught two other sessions. Every time I am around "the Billy Graham people" I am touched by their love for God, their desire to see pastors cared for, and their humility. Everything they do is first class.

On Thursday -- early in the morning -- Vicki flew back to Charlotte; and while I was waiting to board my flight to Denver (so I could teach at the the Dare 2 Share conference), I was witnessed to by a follower of Kabbalah (Kabbalahism is basically Jewish New Age). We had a respectful 30 minute conversation. I told her I was going to pray for her and she said, "No do not pray for me . . . I am Jewish I can't follow Jesus," and I said, "Jesus is Jewish . . . He's the One you've been looking for." I will pray for every time her face flashes in my mind.

Hey -- just a thought -- when was the last time you shared Jesus with someone?

I slept on the plane from Vancouver to Denver. The Dare 2 Share conference was great. over 9,000 teens were trained to share their faith. My voice is about gone. I catch an early flight tommorrow. I miss my wife and kids. I miss the church I co-pastor (which is the best church in the entire universe!). I'm done; sleepy time for me.

Behind The Scenes Heroes and Volunteers

I've just spent two days with 4,200 teenagers in the Washington D.C. area. These "insurgents of love" were excited to be at the Dare 2 Share Conference, and I was excited to be with them. God was up to His usual business of overwhelming people with His awesomeness!

It was cool hanging out with Steve Fee and the rest of his band. It was cool meeting Leeland . . . I didn't realize they were so young (stay humble dudes; your humility was refreshing and real).

And of course, Greg and Zane are always great to be around. But you know what? I was blown away by the volunteers who believe in the Dare 2 Share message. Some of these people fly from other cities, paying their own way . . . just to serve kids.

I was also blown away by the servant-hearted people that are in the background running cameras, sound, lighting, and whatever else that makes Dare 2 Share successful. These behind the scenes heroes are the backbone of Dare 2 Share. Steve Fee, Leeland, myself, Greg or Zane could not use our gifts if it were not for the combined efforts of the behind the scenes heroes and the volunteers. Thank you for showing me what humility and a servant's heart looks like.

Dare 2 Share is Here!

Dare 2 Share is here! Our first event in the Washington D.C. area has arrived. Last night it was great connecting with old friends like the wild man Greg Stier and the surfer dude Zane (whose married now).

I love the content we are going to be sharing with the students: Ephesians 6:10-20! This weekend they will be equipped for Spiritual Warfare. Please pray for us to minister in and out of the power of the Holy Spirit so a generation of world changers can impact our nation and world!

Also, please pray for me as I review a contract offer to write a book. Thanks.
